he was unique.. you could always keep him in a small tank .. thats what i did.. trained him.. and then later moved him out..

Oh Liz!! Don't do that to me.... You may end up seeing a post on here too soon. lol. I stared at that wonder for a long while. Made two passes around the store, both upstairs and down, and went back and still had that little flutter. I may happen to wander into that store again tomorrow... :D (because I do have a smaller tank that has nothing but a gimpy one eyed puffer that wouldn't mind sharing)

As long as you have room in the future for him to join your other monsters why not... if you get him.. and he won't take anything but live food.. then give him quarenteened baby guppies.. when he gets stronger and a little bigger try to get him to eat blood worms and small pellets.. just want you to know.. many LFS do not tell the people that they need live food in the very beginning since they were captured wild.. i am not trying to talk you into anything... but if you decide..you will love him..

Thats really good to know. I didn't know they are fed live in the beginning. Well, that would give me a reason to pull out another tank for raising babies. I will have the room for one, if/when I decide to get one. Our newest thought, since we both don't care for swimming pools as much, was to convert a pool into a pond, and upon searching it and reading about it, I am liking that idea more and more. It would be a great size for the 2 I have now, plus the knife...

What are their personalities like? My BGK is very pushy, and curious and loves to explore my hands. My ABK likes to follow my hand in the tank, or stares through at me when I sit and watch him.
