i wana buy 2 of them but i want them to be at lest 4" and i only can find them 1 1/2" to 2" and i need them a lil big cuz my 2 oscars are 4" and the other one is about 3" so if any one can give me a site or place thanks

The ones aqualoon found would do nicely. They'll be bigger than your oscar which would be nice since oscars grow at a faster rate than ebjds. So it'll give the ebjds a head start.

Rapps has 'em - - tangledupincichlids.com - - , somethingsphishy.com, aquabid.com usually has several sellers

there is a guy at aquabid.com - - tampafishman - - who even moderates a website about EBJDs, so I assume he has some credibility

I got mine thru dumb luck; I stopped in at my favorite LFS and they had 8 1.5" EBJDs in a tank . . . someone had placed an order for 6 EBJDs, so they told me I could have one of the extra ones. because the guy hadn't come in yet, they gave me first pick (nice) and I got what I think was the pick of the litter :)

very nice lucky you haha but ill try out them sites and thanks guys hope i can find one :grinno:

wouldn't want to keep them with oscars at this point though, considering the oscars being larger and having more rapid growth

A 4 inch EBJD is older and more mature then a 4 inch Oscar, you might want to get them a little smaller then the Oscar and you should be fine as long as they dont fit in the O's mouth

Why would you want them smaller? If anything they need some size on them considering the o is going to pass them in the following months. Just my 2 cents...

IME its always worked if I introduce a fish that is a little smaller to an O tank just because the O although larger isnt as old or mature as the other fish and not as aggressive, because a more mature fish tends to be a little more aggressive. Thats what I've always done and worked IME, just my two cents as well:D

Also I still wouldnt get the 1 1/2 to 2 inchers, just a tad smaller then the O
