Where can i find a ngt

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I do why you coming to pick it up lol
I sure I read that only larger ones could be found

Ngt are ok but not one of the best tigers around

When I started keeping tigers ST were easy to get and ngt were supper rare the price of a small ST was £24 and then same size ngt was £125 I ordered 3 in and before I had time to pick them up one had killed one and beat up the other one bad

Ngt are about 4th on my list of tigers now
I have one around the 16inch mark now prob the biggest I have seen they are just a dirty tiger with the messy stripes

I will try to get a picture of it in the morning if it comes out as it just hides pops out for food or to attack any other tiger that passes his spot

When it comes out I will get some pics
It's not very stable but at the size it is it's not aggressive at all

Why is it that when they are everywhere no one really wants them after not seeing them in shops for a year everyone wants them

It's not like you guys are new to tigers why didn't you buy one when they were all over the place please don't say you have never been able to find them as that's crap the US is a massive place and shipping is a normal thing there unlike the UK were not many places ship so it can mean a 6 hour round trip to get a fish you want bad

Just pay the money so what if it's $50 even a $100 to much if you are that desperate to get one then you will pay it if you are a hardcore collector

Rich-Many large ngt are just not stable like u say. Many smaller ngt are very stable. The only big ngt that is stable was your old one that got passed around the uk owner to owner. 12 inch bumblebee!!!
Shame it died in my possession.
Lok has 15-16 inch ,, semi stable and bit messy. Mine is 10 inch and semi .
Maybe once past 10-12 inch , they just loose the nice colours they have when small.

Yes Asian aro are permuted in the UK

Here's a pic not the best pic but you get the idea

It's not satble at all but no big deal I throw it in my tank about 18 months ago at 12 inch now about 16 I would say

What you will find is the ones with clear fins will be stable and the ones like mine with black fins will be unstable

I have one of each kind of tiger in my tank apart from the nasty silver tigers that don't belong in FW all have grown very fast in 18 month with a good feed of pellets (the amount of food they should get in the wild ) and a 24/7 drip changing about 150-200 gal per day plenty of tank space
After moving all my tigers to the 1000 gal the growth has been so much with the food they can eat I can say I think at least 70% of tigers kept in tanks less than 200 gal and not being fed well on pellets are stunted

I do why you coming to pick it up lol
I sure I read that only larger ones could be found.
If you were not across the pond and the price was right maybe I would consider it lol....and it's not like there are all these large NGT waiting to be bought.

Hey t1german, how agressive is ur ngt towards ur tankmates?
