Where can I find... Or can anyone provide... A full list of Subtropical Cichlids that prefer cooler temperatures?

I love those fish! X. lyonsi or doadrioi or eiseni or whatever they are calling them this week.

Lol three different fish, eiseni isn't that common in the hobby. Xenotoca doadrioi is IMO the prettiest and most colourful of the three. Lyonsi is the most common one in our hobby. All three are great fish

Everytime I read something about them I see the names being changed up, interchanged, blah blah blah...they're species, they're subspecies...blah blah blah...I had them for years and could never say for a certainty what they were. :) Based upon pics and verbals, I currently think...think...that I had lyonsi, but I'm far from sure. Whatever the hell they were, I I like 'em and really hope to find them again. :)

I have my local favourite fish guy on the lookout for some for me; I traded in groups of young fish to him several times over the years, and they seemed to sell fairly quickly, so I hope that somebody around here still has them...and is smart enough not to have put all his/her eggs in one basket like I did...and then dropped the basket! :(

If you're ever in Edmonton then let me know I have lots and I know a few other people breeding other goodeids in Alberta too.

Unlikely that I will be venturing out that way anytime soon, but I will definitely keep that in mind; thanks! :)

I was pretty heavily into a couple of other Goodeids as well...Ameca splendens and Skiffia francesae in particular...but eventually settled on the Xenotocas as my favourites and sold off the others.
