Where can i find Sturgeon?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Size and space really depend on the fish your planning to stock. Which variety are you planning to get?

A sterlet for example could live a good year in a good size tank as they are slower growing, remember to keep high oxygen at all times with sturgeon, they have no warning signs, just belly up and die if not

Yeah a starlet would be nice, a want somthin small to start with and i was reading about how most sturgeon grow very slow so i wont need a new tank right away.

how big of a tank are you planning on putting this potential monster into?

Well i will have to buy a new tank since he will grow, but for now probably one that i already have. What size do you think i will need in the future?

10 bucks??? SOLD!

if you go with a shovelnose sturgeon you don't need as big of a tank as they don't get as big...i would suggest that one...i haven't looked for them, but my friend has had them before and i catch them alot...i just wish that i could keep a wc lake sturgeon from here...i catch them 5-30" all the time i can only keep a 60" fish if i want a wc.....or do i...
