Leopards stay manageable!? Trust me they get big! Do you guys over there not get any of the european species-hermanns,marginated,greek spur-thigh etc? If you do get a hingeback-worm it straight away, almost all wc.To get them feeding-strawberries,mushrooms and earthworms work a treat.

Here ya go:D Thouse are very hardy and allways cb. Hingebacks are in my experience very hard to extablish, are full of parasites and really shy animals that need lots of peace and hiding places to survive. Also they are very sencitive to temperatures bellow 22c and some species we plain dont know yet what their especific needs are. There are sucess, long term survival and breeding stories but they unfornatly few and far beetwen

Also, Want a tortoise with personality? Get a Cherryhead redfoot tortoise.
They stay fairly small compared to other tortoises. And when I got my hatchling it took him a couple days to warm up to me. Hes now a year old and I let him go outside and will follow me around wanting snacks or always greeting me when i walk near his tub.

Great lil tortoises
Gorgeous to
Sounds good Clubtastic,I can just imagine one following me around in my yard.I dont think I'll be getting a hingeback but the links that were provided were full of pictures of them with what looked like cracks across their shells,is this normal?

Here are some pics of him.
There I se you giving him some letuce, if you love your tortoise and I think you do cut with that as much as you can, there are plenty of much better dark leaf vegetables you can use
