Received the fish this morning...man what a mess!
The box arrived sopping wet which instantly jumped my blood pressure. The FedEx Express driver/delivery man noted the box as damaged and wet and told me who to contact in the event of an issue (even though they aren't likely to do anything about livestock).
I opened the box to discover that the box has been flipped upside down for a while and beaten hard enough to cause two bags to leak. There was about 3" of water in the bottom of the styrofoam insert. All fish are alive though, even though one female was in less than 1" of water!
The water in the box soaked the heatpacks which then became un taped from the top of the box and of course stopped working. Even though our temps dropped to about 28 degrees here last night, water temp inside the bags was right around 70 degrees.
Once these guys get acclimated and calm down a bit I'll get some pictures.
Here are the totals:
(3) x Festae Red Terror (Wild Caught) = $52.50
(4) x heat packs = $4
Fed Ex Express Next Day @ 15 pounds = $40.89

Not bad for Wild Caught fish of this size...I used to paying at least $25 for a 1"-2" WC old world cichlid.
Dominator- Give them a call...I was nowhere near the $200 minimum.
