Box turtles seem much more "roamy" than other types of turtles the same size. IMO they need a ton of room...I really don't think they're a great choice as an indoor pet, the only way I'd get one is in an outdoor pen like yours Vicious.

I couldn't agree with you more CTU. They can be pretty active turtles that like to explore their territory. Sometimes mine will bury in the mulch for up to a day when it's really hot out, but other then that they are always walking around foraging. A 10 gallon aquarium for life is just crazy!
