Not necessarily. I mean, don't they average 10'? Arapaima average 15' and yet people buy them. Their care is a lot easier, compared to a shark, especially an open ocean shark, but still.

The max size for Arapaima is 15'. The more average size is 6'-8'

People do buy them but who on this site can house them? VERY FEW people have anything even close to being acceptable for those fish.

Yes, I agree, but that's the point, people still buy them. What I mean is that this guy really wants to buy one, and isn't just trolling.

No, thats what pretty much every site says the average size is, in the wild...Some will hit 10-12' but there's only one case of a 14.8' So 15' is definitely not the average.
