My box turtle was stolen from it's enclosure in my backyard :(

Same here. I had 2 EBT's stolen from my enclosure in one night about 10 years ago.

And just a side note: I have had a painted turtle killed by raccoons before. They're out there and very sneaking as well.

y would u steal someones pets??
Because they are novelties to said thieves.
Aside form not having a life OR a spine, the stolen animals are almost certainly met with terrible care.
Or sold to someone of the same stature.

Who that knows proper husbandry of these animals would steal them?

When I set up aquatic life on my premises, it's all yours for the taking.
As long as you get past my Cane Corso.........................

Well, schutzhund training is very accurate.

A dog with that training is present to protect the interests of the owners, along with being a great family dog.

I'm all set with standing trial over discharging a firearm at an intruder.

And besides, the right dogs put ADT to shame, and the police force that responds!

we didnt have raccoons in my yard, or possums

im talking about a very lifeless neighborhood i used to live in

the only place i every saw anything that could threaten a baby turtle is the creek, (about a mile away)

If you are within a maile of a creek, I GUARANTEE there are possums or some other scavenger of that size that is dangerous to baby turtles. Domestic cats for one. A lot of people would not believe where possums and racoons live.
