Where do u guys get your pot scubbies and filter socks?

Another question. How often do these need to be rinsed and or changed.

More info. Its a 300g with 2 large cichla. Feed once a day. In about 5-6 months. I'll be adding 3 maybe.more cichla and ill cut back to feeding once every other day.

I rinse mine out once a month or so...BUT only use water from your fish tank or you will KILL the good Bactria on them... Then it's like starting all over again..

You can get the socks at Mcmaster-Carr. They're an industrial supply company and socks are cheap there.

Someone on here tipped me off to McMaster-Carr for filter socks. They are by far the best prices I have seen and blow away everyone else in selection.
