where do you buy most of your fish .

do you shop online, fish shows aca or other or lfs?please tell why you shop where you shop my biggest complant with lfs is they dont have enuff of selection of c/a cichlids. Always the same thing for the most part there is one decent shop that gets cool cichlids now and then. i shop lfs becouse i am fearful of ordering online.

I have one more q. for you what would you want in your perfict lfs? Also how far away do you travle to a quality lfs?
 
I use a mixture of larger chain pet stores and smaller owned LFS.
The reason is simply if they have what I want or not... I don't have a massive tank (120) so I am quite selective of what will go into that tank.

I go to quite a few different LFS places... the farthest is about an hours drive.

My biggest complaint is selection of CA/SA fish here. Almost all petshops/LFS I go to have wall after wall of African selections but a maybe half a wall to a wall maybe of a CA/SA fish... and that gets me rather frustrated.
 
Ive bought online and I buy in LFS and chain stores. I mostly buy from who has a good selection and healthy fish. I really only have 2 LFS that are good, chain stores are too far and have lousy selection anyway.
 
I get most of my fish from auction and hobby breeders.Some from wholesalers and hatcheries.Just a few from the lfs
 
I get my fish from a LFS called Wharf Aquatics in Nottingham (England) and I live in Lincoln so it's well over an hour away in the car but it's worth it for the quality and wide selection of the fish they stock. I have never bought online, I need to see the fish and how it is behaving before I buy.
 
I buy all my of my fish in a selected selected three lfs.two of them are one hour fifteen minutes away.they all have only selected species of fishes.
 
most of my fish are from local stores, although have had some bought online or given to me
 
Since I do the FW ordering for my LFS, I'm able to get just about anything for myself.
