Where do you get fish?

I get mine through 10 lfs diff cities,all of them know me and sell me fish at way thy buy then for special orders,and let me go through their list as well,

And I've been to were my lfs gets their fish from man there's alot of cool fish and lots and lots fish he's really cool but told me not to tell anyone were it is lol wich I respect he did give me the opportunity to experience wat it's like

Getting fish from friends and fellow hobbyists can't be beat. That being said, I consider myself very lucky to have met the people I have over the years.
Online vendors are great too but, much like local fish stores, their focus is on the bottom line. I have an enormous respect for the amount of work that goes into running an online fish business but cold calling these sources is not my favorite thing to do. Especially when wysi(not always)wyg.

20 years ago I would have ranked LFS as my primary source...now it's fellow fish club members (by far). Probably followed by getting fish shipped from other hobbyists...

I got most of my fish from a friend's LFS and get great deals but since I moved I've been going through online vendors/retailers , local breeders and local hobbyists.

I keep my fish for life and only have 3 tanks so I don't get new fish too often but the last couple of times I was able to get them at gcca swap meets.
