post in the buysell that you are looking for african cichlids... on any site... or check out cichlidforum.com trading post can search by state....

I buy all my stuff either online (Aquabid generally) or from a "network" of other hobbyists. I don't buy from fish stores because of all the junk fish flying around in them (not all of them mind you, but especially the ones in my area are s**t). That and most don't carry too many Cynotilapia unless I've sold to them

dont buy online unless you buy in bulk. shipping will cost you a fortune

I don't necessarily agree with that statement. I have shipped fish for $20 with live arrival over 2 - 3 days. Shipping doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. You just gotta know who to buy from.

Best way IMO is to join a aquarium club in your area/state that way you get to know all the breeders/hobbyist in your area and what they keep.
