Where do you get your pool filter sand from?

I cant find non silica sand for my tanks anywhere. Iv gone to every pool place in town and they dont carry it. Gone to hardware stores like home depot and lowes, they tell me try a pool place lol. Iv called the local garden centers and they say go to a pet store. Went to the pet store and it reminded me why I started calling other places to begin with.

Can you guys please recommend places where you have gotten your non silica sand from?
 
I got mine at leslies pool supply, its the #20 50 lb bag, its like 10bucks

They do carry play sand, but that stuff is crap that clouds up easy and will clog filters often. Non silica doesnt cloud up, just sinks straight back down. Plus it doesnt look like brown mud.
 
I think your confused. You want silica sand then. Try a masonry shop. Thats where I get mine. Its available in 4 different sizes where I buy it. Im pretty sure all pool filter sand is silica and almost all of the sand used on here is silica. As far as rays and silica I dont know but have seen it used numerous times with rays.
