Where do you keep your fish tank?

i got a 75 gal at the end of my bed with a tetra whisper EX70 and there is humming but its a very enjoyable hummmmm

I have a 46 gallon bowfront (breeder fish) and 30 gallon rectangle (nursery) in my living room with a Rena XP2 canister, a 220gph powerhead, and some generic Air pump. The air pump is annoyingly loud and sounds like a flourescent light that is going bad an has that egregious hum. The PH and XP are whisper quiet. This weekend I might get annoyed enough to drill a hole in the wall and move the air pump into into the garage. Then we could hook up two of them and have some more flow for the spongies in the nursery.

A bit ambiguous here.. are the tanks bothering your wife, or is your wife bothering you? :naughty:

I keep them in my bedroom. I don't like the sound of flowing water for some reason but I just turn a fan on at night because the tanks keep my room at like 80 degrees (I like my cichlids to be warm) and I can't hear the tanks anymore.

Kitchen and office, and soon to be one in the living room/family room area. My husband is such a light sleeper, there's no way he'd tolerate one in the bedroom. I don't think I'd care for it, anyway.
