Where have the WC Kelberi gone?

Definetly get those pics! One of my Rapps 3rd batch turned into the nicest Kelberi I've ever had the pleasure of keeping.

Shook I am still wiping the slober up from all the Rapps Kelberi period. And would buy the right one for the right price. But this here game is SO SATURATED! All the new comers and all the old timer = SOSDD! I remember when W/C anything was the lick and Orino were the much sought after next pick up. Kelberi weren't even on the thinking process. Now it's like ahhh it's just a Cichla if it isn't Kelberi or you don't know the exact pick up and location. Really it hurt's me to see all these id these for me threads when really I know what ever it is it's tank breed. Which is cool. But now the Art of Cichla keeping has become very common place around here at least. You post up some rare freak of nature Kelberi or you post up LFS Mono/Ocell. Hell bro I am still waiting on the Azul/Pinima to come back in but most likely I know it may never happen again. I need to see a steady progress thread I guess and that takes a lot of time. But if we never see Kelberi here again what kind of impact would that make on the private trade!!!!!!
 
Its just like when Indo dats werent coming around then all of a sudden rapps was the only one to get them and the price was up there on them. He set the prices and they were high but sold...Then everyone else out there with a indo was trying to sell theres for alittle less than rapps but look just how the price jumped a 3inch indo which would be $15-$20 now became a $75 fish....Then came Riches $5 baby Indo dats that just flooded the states big time and the price dropped cause the demand was now gone. This may happen with cichla so either your going to have the money when they come around again or you chance waiting for the right price. It may come a day where the only cichla around are the CB guys. Look at how ST's turned out and intermedia's. This may be what we have coming....Just a thought.

You just saw an update ;) Funwow has my old rapps second batch stunner as long as my old sao paulo from shark aquariums, as well as one of the brazilian orinocensis. The rest of my pinima orinos monos and ocell have been dispersed around the east coast. I'm currently growing out one kelberi as we speak. ;) I picked it up from Shark Aquariums and they were labeled Kelberi sp. Wild Brazil but I'm pretty sure it's a bahia. George pulled a shyster move. Once I get my filtration done, I'll post some pics.
