Where Should I Put My Jardini

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
keep the jar and the rays there itself
if the jar grows with a fish it learns to live with it

Thanks everyone for the advice. I think that I will chance the Jardini with the Rays as the plywood tank is deeper (34") than the 165 g (22"). They have been okay together so far as they are still kind of small. Hopefully, they'll be alright together since they will be raised together. I don't think that I'll try them with any Discus, though, as the Jardini may pick on them when he gets older.

you really post the most helpful posts :screwy::screwy:

anyways i wouldn't try discus with jars as the discus as it is are pretty faint hearted:D
but your tank would look cool wit the current tank mates it self (some nice pics would revive this thread):D:D

the jar is gonna mess up you'r ray's

from what i hear, the jar will go for anything once it hits that infamous size (~8inches). in addition, the rays wont be isolated to the bottom of the tank. they'll swim up and get tagged. i wouldn't risk it, but they'd be fine until your jar approaches 8''.
