I wish I could think of the name of this other turtle guy.Prices are half the cost as all the sites I've visited and was referred to him by an MFK'er a long while ago...

Fish Junky, are you talking about this guy http://www.donsturtles.com/
He is a local seller in Bay Area CA. I have bought turtles from him before and he is a super cool dude with cheap prices...

You're in the wrong state, we can't have them here. :( You can't legally buy or sell turtles anywhere here.

This is true, but you can buy them from other states.I'm not looking to sell,I am looking to buy and own them for my kids.It is not illegal to own them here, just to buy or sell them here.I think they can be sold also if over 4" but don't hold me to that.I want them for life and have no plans on reselling them anyway. It has something to do with a turtle under 4" can be swallowed by a child or something like that.

turtle source is by far the best.
marc cantos has hella good stock. ive ordered like, 7 turtles from him i believe.

Oh is it that one guy from florida, Eric Evings, or something like that?

No,although I do see him around selling quite a bit also.I guess I'm gonna have to take a ride out to the Reptile show if all else fails.Funny thing is,I know myself and I'll drive out there for a turtle and come home with a small zoo of animals.
I love monitor lizards,I'm sure I'll buy at least one, then I'll see an alligator and get a great idea of an outdoor exhibit and lake in my back yard, then those snakes over there look really cool, maybe I'll grab a "few".Next thing you know,I'm driving home with 46 cages and bins full of turtles and snakes, lizards, alligators etc. thinking what the hell is wrong with me?" and then the wife see's me come in the door and  it just gets even worse. I mean, how the hell do I explain to the wife I need to go get my buddies backhoe to dig up the backyard and build a pond for the alligators and go buy a truck load of wood to build a reptile house?
