where to buy Izu Catsharks ?? (in US)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Izu Catsharks are cool water catsharks native to Japan.

As such - you're not likely to find them online. Instead you will either need to go directly thru a dealer with connetions in Japan. Or find someone who has captive bred pups here in the North America.

The only person I know - who has bred Izu Catsharks - is Crumbs (Chris) but he's in Canada. You can find some his videos on YouTube.

Thanks.. i just shot him a private messge to see what he has to say... appreciate it. yea they are hard to find around here... but i dont really know many cool cat sharks that stay under 20-22" as adults besides those.. unless you know of any in us that i could get?

Chain cat sharks (sometimes called chain dogfish) stay around 20 inches or so and are found off the US coast. The only person I know who carries them is Chris (Blacktip17) on SRC.
