Where to buy large tanks?

I believe you can get Marineland to build you a tank with starphire glass, as they do offer it in their deep dimension line of tanks.

however, I like the build quality on Aqueon tanks for the larger sizes (see my thread for pics of my custom 150g from them or PM me). they use glass that is slightly thicker than marineland and the plastic cross braces are more sturdy (not as flexible). but they don't offer the low iron high clarity glass (as far as I know??).

miracles aquariums in toronto is used by many reefers on reefcentral.com that would be an option as well. they ship to the states and offer the starphire glass. if you go to reefcentral and do a search you will find many great threads. I like their tanks also. I have two at the moment.

for big tanks, both miracles and aqueon are well built.

Thanks for the insight. I contacted marineland to see if they would make me one with low iron glass.. Any other suggestions? I love my aqueon / ADA tanks, but for something so big I want to do it right the first time.

Does oceanic still make big tanks? I know they make the cubes. They had some of the nicest tanks I'd ever seen.

180 gallon, low iron front /sides, reef ready. I'm going to make a sump / refugium for freshwater. I could do a million things with it.

The only place to find Aqueon tanks is places like petco and the largest you can go online is 125 gallon. They have a website but don't sell anything online except through distributors.

Does oceanic still make big tanks? I know they make the cubes. They had some of the nicest tanks I'd ever seen.

from what I have read on the net, the only oceanic tanks currently being made anymore are the biocube tanks, which are small.

since Central Pet and Garden bought All Glass Aquarium (and changed the name to Aqueon) and Oceanic, the Oceanic inventory is pretty much MIA.

you can still get them used however.

hopefully, Central Pet will reopen the Oceanic line again.
