Where to buy large tanks

petco and petsmart i'm pretty sure don't carry these in stock, and I haven't been able to special order anything from them in years... not sure where in Mass you would go but i'm surprized a mass mfker hasn't spoken up where to look. If your interested in building check out the DIY subforums... alot of good info there.
 
I agree with the statement re: CL here in Mass. I am north of Boston, and for the most part, tanks are waaay overpriced and/or need work. Everyone thinks their tank is lined with gold ! I hear "I paid this much for it", so I won't sell it for less. Well, you overpaid, by a lot. I have been looking for a 48" x 24" x 13" tank (65 to 70 gals) to house my L240 population, and , yes, it is an odd size, but nothin. GlassCages wants $282 for the tank and $60 shipping, which is probably the way I'm gonna go. I am going to check out Petsmart/co first, which are less than 2 miles from my house. Good luck with your search.
 
I live south of Boston. I have talked to Petco about special ordering the tank but they said they have to way of getting tanks over 55 gallons. Petsmart goes up to 75 gallons I believe. I will try asking petsmart if they can special order a larger tank. CL is not an option for me because the people selling tanks want more than what they paid for them. I hate hearing stories about people in California getting tanks for so little and sometimes even free haha. It makes me wanna move...

Go to glasscages.com I believe they go up to close too 800 gals.
 
I have a 55 gallon with a pair of wolf Cichlids ( blue dovii ). They have Spawned already and the fry is about a month and a half old. Can anyone tell me or advise me on how long I could keep them in the same tank together. Also there are no other fish in the tank just them. Thanks
