Research some more and you will find out. You can also check the livestock ads as there are lots for sale.
They're incredibly common fish in the aquarium trade--and they're hearty. So you could get one from just about anywhere really.
Hope you really are prepared to take care of it, because the fact that you can't find one to buy sort of implies that you haven't dug that deep into the internet.

I'd find a hardcore LFS in your area or driving range. Not a big box store. Call them first to check if they have RTCs. That should run ~$15-$25 for a 1.5"-3" one.
If they don't, ask them if they could order it for you and how much that'd be, either store pick-up or drop-shipped to your door. Lots of nice big LFSs ship - Shark Aquarium NJ, The Fish Place Tonawanda/Buffalo, That Fish Place, etc.
You can order from reputable web-sites, like LiveAquaria and PetSolutions etc. but theirs are usually $45-$65 plus shipping. Just try google shopping.
Also, check your local Craigslist listings - I see people wanting to sell small and big RTCs quite often. Perhaps not every week in every area but every month for sure.

Lol u guys have it easy. I dont even have a lfs lol. New buisness venture? Haha. I have to buy the online and have them shipped in. Even when i did have a lfs they wouldnt order them.
