In my area there are 2 chain type pet stores the sickest fish I have ever seen .
Considering I was used to NY good pet store selection and fish clubs(non in Miami) I have ordered online a lot as nothing in my area.
Even the pet stores will not sell 55 gallons unless you buy in that lame tank kit with garbage filter,heater,etc.

Either way ordered twice from live aquaria one order was plants the other common cichlids for my pond . Must say both shipments were outstandind great stuff all arrived fine granted shipping isnt cheap but no shipping is

where should i buy fish onlinw that doesnt have an outrageously high shipping rate( anything over 45)

I have ordered several times from Fish Room Plus (a community vendor) and he charges $38.00 for usps shipping. He uses EXCELLENT packaging and the fish I have ordered have always arrived alive and well. Check out his forums, he has a lot of satisfied customers.

I have also ordered once from Rehobothaquatics, and they shipped well although I don't remember the shipping charges.
