Bass and trout do not go to well together because LMB can carry disease that will be passed on to trout easily. trout also require pristine water conditions and cool water. you best bet would be a bass sunfish and cat pond. these species can easily thrive off one another. I'm pretty sure you can't import trout to washington because of the risk of intorducing whirling disease into the states fisheries.

My dad and i want to stalk a pond we own with rainbows, bass and some catfish. where should we get them from. We live in Walla Walla Washington.

If your regulations permit, I would go with brown trout over rainbows for a pond. They seem to do better. I have seen both done with success, but brown trout more frequently. In some large deep pond/"fake lakes" ..lol.
