I recently purchased a 150 gallon tank and am having trouble finding a background for it. I am looking for a background for it to hide all of the hoses and cords hanging off of the back of the tank. I would like one of the types that sticks to the back of the tank, but none of the local pet stores have one that will fit. I have tried looking online, but haven't been able to find one. The tank is 48" long and 31" tall, but part of that is covered by the frame. The exposed glass portion is 27-1/2" tall. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

In the excitement over getting the tank, I have already filled the tank. It is only about 3" from the wall, so I would have to drain the tank and move it away from the wall to paint it. The backgrounds on the Designs By Nature website look fantastic, but I would still have to drain the tank to silicone it in place.

I was in your same situation so I stuck velcro around the edges of my tank and then stuck a piece of felt to that. It looks great and I can change the color easily if I want to.

I've never had any issues with that that I've noticed, but I also keep a glass lid secured on my tank that only has openings big enough for my filter tubes. If I ever redo my tank then I'll probably go with a 3DBG from DBN, but if I ever do a solid color background again then I definitly will use this method.
