Yeah.
Okay, well my biology professor emailed me last night asking where he could find Cichlid eggs for his developmental biology class. He said he was able to find them in the past but not now, so I decided I would help him and do some digging.
Any ideas?

I've been in and out of the hobby for nearly 4 decades and have never heard of this practice. The only fish, that comes to mind, that this could work are killifish eggs.

Yeah, he said he ordered the cichlid egg in diapause - I haven't taken the class, more of an environmental nerd here.
I passed the word on to him about killifish.
Honestly, whatever info I can give him - gotta work for those recommendations.

You can have my red texas eggs but they would have to be at 5$ a piece and 400 of them...LMAO Will give you a pot full. Thats wholesale pricing! I kid of course. Whats he doing with the eggs?

Haha if you're in Illinois, he might take ya up on that.
I am really not sure, haven't taken the class but I'm assuming the students will have to raise them and write about the developmental process and everything. Probably an observation thing - seems up his alley.

Sorry I don't know more :/
I could copy the email he sent me and post here?
