Yes I have all those in my tank. I don't know if you would call them teeth but yeah they have some spikes on their lips that helps them hold their prey in their mouth when caught.caribemob;3377226; said:

He is about at that stage where people say they go bizerk and kill everything in the tank. I hear 8-10" and he's pushing 10" now. The tank is a 120 gallon long and they will be going in a 280 about next April.
Check MySetup for the tankmates.
Look up a store in South Philly called GiantAquarium,I think its at 7th and Tasker.They usually have soo many little jars that they must breed them LOL.They also have a large display tank with pimas.
If you would be willing to go up to jersey, I know there a few places that stock em periodically. A 180 would be more than enough for it to grow into and then you'll have to go bigger- depending on the measurements. Go find out as much as you can before you immerse yourself in a fairly demanding fish. But if you're thinking of jardini and tankmates, you would be risking it.
Mines was fine with other fish when he was small (used to keep with discus even) but now thats hes bigger, he doesnt even like me next to the tank!
I think if you get the jardini when its <6" then its skittish and tends to leave your tankmates alone unless your tankmates are really small, but they definitely have a psycho switch that turns on at some point past 8-10" for the most part. If you really want an arow + tankmates I think its better to get a silver/black arow cuz jar's tend to like their tank space to themselves. There is a pic in the galleries that shows 1 jar that was ~2ft owning 75% of 200g tank with about 10 large tankmates jammed into a corner that had some pots n stuff to hide in. I think that pic says it all.
i just bought a 3" jardini from www.liveaquaria.com about a month ago. the fish was $60 and shipping was around $35 i believe. ive had him on bloodworms and brine shrimp and he's very healthy.
