1/4" glass isnt the thickest. Probably should have been made bigger. The old 180 in my field is 3/4" glass no centre brace

Best place to go is craigslist or check the marketplace. Deals come up in the marketplace from time to time. Theres a 300 and 720 gallon tank in there right now for a thousand each. Great deal
My old 100 is 1/2" thick. But the silicone was bad so I had to resilicone the whole tank over.
