I've been looking for one since may, I've called called or emailed 6 stores in my area and Toyin doesn't have any in a size smaller than 10 inches. Anyone know where to get one, preferably small and captive bred?

Those are pricey or I just got good deals on my two. My CB was my first poly, bought it at 10" for $80. And bought my WC about a month ago at 12" for $100. Definitely my second favorite poly. Good luck.
In regard price at Aquatic Day Care you may ask him if he has any sales going... He just sold some bichirs to me at 25% off and said he was running a special on in stock bichirs.
Quite unlikely. I don't think any wild fish has been shipped out in close to 2 yrs.
