where to get 8' x 2' background?

before.. (nothing accept for incredibles sheet covering the bare 2"x4" wall in my basement)

the extra paint.. I bought 5 and only needed 2..
this is the second tank I did this on. I got a pack of 6 sponge paint brushes for $1 and the paint is $.44 per bottle, they have any color you want and it takes no time to paint the tank at all. So much easier than having to take your tank outside, tape everything off and spray paint it, not to mention this stuff is probably 100x easier to take off than spray paint. I did both of my tanks while they were already set up too. The only bad thing about this is you have to wait for it to completely dry to put another coat on it but that only takes about 20minutes or less if you have a fan on it. 2-3 coats should be more than enough. I haven't had any flaking or chipping on the first tank I did, I've even gotten it wet and it didn't effect it. If I were you and looking for a cheap background I'd try this, the most it should cost you is $3-4 and a half hours worth of work. I'm pretty sure this is the kind of paint that party stores paint their windows with.
I think I'm going to buy 3-4 bottles of different colors and try painting something cool on my tank, I'll let you know how it turns out. I'm assuming if I paint 1 color on and wait for it to dry I can paint over it without having it mix the colors. Maybe I can get some sponges with shapes on them and paint them all over a tank then go over it with black or something.

So Oii ... is that incredibles sheet directly from your bed?? 
That paint doesn't look bad actually ... may have to pick up a bottle or 12 later.... Is that in the crafts section?

actually yes, lol. I have all kinds of ridiculous sheets. I have to change them to get girls into my bed because when they see something thats not theirs it pretty much ruins my chances of getting with them..

Not sure I'd have braved painting the tank, it's a bit permanent isn't it...
Also remember black always makes things appear smaller then they are (ask any overweight women..lol)
For cosmetic purposes lighter color would have made the most of your tanks dimensions...
Hope you've got no plans to have any black/dark colored fish! Although...If you had some sort of albino's in their it would look amazing !
