Some are truly oblivious and don't know. I had tons of snakeheads when I was younger. Now they're all banned. If I would have quit the hobby for a few years, I would have came back asking similar questions.
Same here, I remember when you could walk into most LFS's and find ST's and Redline Snakeheads now one's illegal and the other is fairly hard to find and pretty expensive. It's funny because one day they where here next they where gone and the people in the LFS couldn't tell you why cause they didn't know.

Do all Americans keep their head in the sand, when all the discussions come up about Asian Arowanas being illegal in the U.S.?:woot::asianarow
Another internet tough guy....since you have an issue with americans...what country are your from ?...porbably some waste land that we send money too, or just angry about something we do/did, or did we kick your &ss in some past war? Even worse you probably live here like a parasite leaching the aid qnd programs you are offered

To anyone else,
I dont read about the fish and i am never in this section so excuse my ignorance on the subject

Kolt i had redlines to nasty fish man that was the time before internet searches

I wish I lived by you in my dat hunting days. My lfs were lame, they never had any kind of dat back in the ST days. Would of been fun to cherrypick ST's out of a batch instead of somebody picking them for me

I think any species of aro should be kept in 300+. I know most people say a 180 is a minimum but I think it's too small. Either 6x3 or 8x2 should be the goal.

What are some good sites to purchase them ? All i see locally are silver aros (nyc)

What would a cross back need 300 gal? Would a 180 be too small ?

If you're interested in Jardini, I think there are/were more options to purchase online. When I was looking for a Leichardti ~3 months back, I recall seeing at least 3 fish stores selling on-line all that sponsor or post on MFK. I'm not sure about their current availability. But I'd start with our sponsor list, as others would have feedback on them as well.

So you don't read in this section but you know what a xb arowana is and if a 300 gallon or 180 would be sufficient. So you must have done some reading one them. Asian arowana have been banned for more then just a few years and may have been banned in your country longer then you may be old.

The 300 gallon would work for an xb(if you could own one) if it was wider then 24" and a 180 gallon is definitely too small for a xb,black and silver but may be okay for a jar.

Monster aquarium in queens usually has really nice jardinis and leichardis and sometimes smaller ones available like 4-6". In one of the bigger display tanks they had 3 huge, absolutely stunning jardinis when I was there the other day.

1. I dont remember threads inread from last week.

2. I looked it up right before i posted the thread.

3. Now go chase yourself ...pathetic... not only did you post arrogantly about my country then try and come back with with stocking advice. I bet you dont have a slick mouth like that in the "real world". Go post.on some other thread you've added nothing of value
