Hurricane season is coming here in Miami and I need to start purchasing D batteries for my battery powered air pumps. Where can I get cheap D batteries? It can either be two packs or even big packets. Also which are the best long lasting D batteries you guys would recommend? How long would you be looking at running them for? What's the voltage of the pumps? Will you be able to recharge batteries?

Costco. Look at tests for longevity online. Costco batteries hang with the best of them. They outperform most. Most people don’t know. Duracell is the best IMO. But Costco must be relabeling them. Because their brand of batteries last just as good. Energizer is good at advertising, but are only ok these day’s. 
Amazon and eBay may have good prices for all batteries? Or just get a membership if you haven’t already during this coronavirus craziness... GO to Costco if your worried? If they suck? Return them. There is a reason why Costco has the ultimate return policy. They stand by their products. The carry Kirkland and Duracell. Nothing else. That says a lot when they have that generous return policy.

This makes sense to me. Rechargeable batteries will pay for themselves soon enough and last years
