Ok thanks well I will probably have to end up doing that then. I was hoping that they made the plastic lids for tanks this size but kind of doubted it.
If it is really 19" from the front to back I imagine you will have a real hard time finding anything because 12, 18, or 24 is what those hoods usually are. If an 18" will fit though you can fairly easily find 2 36" long hoods that should fit. Will cost you a few hundred dollars though where building it (or having it built) will turn out much cheaper and look a lot better (as others suggested)
