I have seen them in Quebec store for 8.99 for a Redline (get huge) and $11.99 for a bleheri (stays around 9" if my memory serves me correctly)


So certainly you can get the common ones for a very reasonable price.

thank you very much. A lot cheaper then i expected since states are all 200-400. I just emailed someone in quebec about them. I'd prefer bleheri if possible so i'll hope I can get some brought in from quebec. Do you remember the place you seen them?

I have lots in singapore and you can find them in drains too haha...
And the babies are used as live feeders for aros and bichirs.
2SGD which is about USD1.20 you can get like 10 of them.
But this is for the most aggressive one,the giant snakehead.

thats also good to know. cause I was hoping to leave my oscar in the tank with them but wasnt going to risk it until i read this. he doesnt seem to be a very aggresive oscar though. just relaxes in his den more then anything. I have a bigger black convict in there that seems to bully him around if anything. Should I chance leaving him in a tank with snakeheads?


As for other post .. I've already talked to oliver via e-mail. he doesnt have any and makes it seem like he wont reallly cause doesnt like to bring them in often or something.
