Where to Honeymoon?

I cant look at the links I am blocked at work, but I will say with all the places they probably fly to I think you would be dissapointed if you choose miami/keys area =] go somewhere more exotic that you wont get a chance to go to normally.

Never been to Miami. bad experience or just a bad place in general? I was reading one of your posts about diving.... I would much rather dive than snorkel but I'm not certified. How long and how much to become certified?

I went to Cozumel for my honeymoon. It's a nice place and you can do both deep sea fishing and snorkling. Of course we had to cut our trip short because of Hurricane Wilma.

That sucks!

Not bad, I love fishing and visiting down there and its nice, I may even be moving down in a year or two to finish school. But if you compared it to all the other awesome places, I wouldnt suggest it as a first choice to anyone, it does not look like the advertisements you probably see (neither does Daytona - there water isnt even blue lol) Its just not all its cracked up to be I guess. The night life is good and if your into that then you may enjoy it. If you like fishing then its def. great place to fish. The view is alright and snorkeling/diving the keys is ok but you can see much more in other places.

It took it as a class in school so it took half a semester, but it takes pretty much 2-3 days if you do it as a class though a dive shop/resort. Depends on where you go, the big chain places usually charge more. Small dive shops can offer it much cheaper but roughtly $200-300 you may find it for $150 if you lucky. When you take it through the shcool its only $90 but we get discounts

I am a Floridian I ve been there alot so I have room to hate =] no really I hate orlando (where I live also) so its ok. I just say its not a nice as its made out to be, neither is orlando =] and there are more cooler places to visit imo

you should definitely try out a cruise. Or go to mexico, or the bahamas, or jamaica, or anywhere else in the carribean.

That would be the best place to go!!!

BUUUUTTTTTTT, not made out of money. Gotta keep it in the 48 states. Trying to pay off everything this year and sell the house. I'm gonna build my new house in the beginning of 09'. Gonna have a whole basement setup for nothing but fish!!! All electric and water will be located for ease with the setup I have designed.

I tried asking her to wait until Dec. and go with Ken from Fishfarm to Uraguay collecting..... she laughed

We got married on a beach in Maui and honeymooned on 3 different Islands (Maui, Khaui, and the Big Island) was an AWESOME 11 days!!!

Maui Aquarium and snorkling everywhere rigt off the beach.
