where to place filters?

i just got my new tank and i am trying to determine how to place my intake/output's.. i made a few drawings in paint, which would be the best setup? im also going to have 2- AC110's..

id go with either 1 or 3 with the ac110s on the sides.. then again it also depends on whats in the tank as far as decore.. even the fish play a roll due to different "types" and amounts of waste..

I like the first one. But it depends on your stock. if they dont like strong current id go with three.

I'd go with the forth one. I set my filters up so the in and out are at opposite ends. Gives a flow to the water and makes it more of a loop IMO. Depends on the length of hoses you have etc though

decor will just be black sand with a couple bubble disk and as far as stock it will be a black aro and a couple pbass and a few plecos..

hoses are about 4-5ft lengths from end to end..

only one place to put the AC110s cuz of the bracing on the tank..


i attached another pic with where the bracing on the tank is and the white holes in the bracing is where im thinking of having the holes drilled to stick the hoseing for the FX5s thru and put the ac110s inbetween the bracing ITS A PERFECT FIT for them!!

again stock will be: BLACK ARO, PBASS, AND COUPLE PLECOS

You don't need that much filtration. The FX5s alone will be fine.

I'd go with #2 or #4, forget the spray bars.
