  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
that's not bad then, i'm not bothered if there not massively active, just want something to see. My fish are a let down when people come over, i build them up "Theres two monster fish in there", and they decided there not hungry and wont come out, who thought it was a good idea to keep Snakeheads in a over planted tank....

What do species you keep?

At the moment nothing, but I have in the past kept Leopard Geckos, African Fat Tail Geckos, Texas Banded Geckos, and Panther Geckos.

With the intent on some day keeping some Australian species like Knob tailed geckos and some Chinese Cave Geckos are on my wish list.

I liked the look of the African Fat Tail Geckos, what sort of requirments go they have, and can they be handled?

They are very similar to Leopard Geckos but require more heat. The one I had was an adopted one and had a mean side to him so it wasn't handable but I have heard that they are pretty tame otherwise.

If you want something htats aboreal and handable i would suggest a Crested Gecko. Most are Fairly Cheap and Easy to Find. And you can keep a group of 1.3 in a Fairly Decent Sized Aquarium. Say a 50 or 75 gallon.

Cresties, hands down if you want a planted tank. They are cool, easy to care for, usually inexpensive, and fairly personable.
