Ok got to get my 125 cycled and I want to know where can I purchase Ammonia from. Give me some brands and what not. I will be using cycled media mostly bio in my Eheim 2217 and my Emp 400 is just running all sponges and foams. I have never done a fishless cycle before only goldies to cycle the tank with lots of water changes. I want to secure the cycling before adding my cichlids from Rapps. Thanks a bunch.

Try a pharmacy for pure ammonia, problem lately is this is what the druggies are using to make their stuff, so you may have to explain to the pharmacist. You won't need much.

Next is your local grocery store, just make sure it says pure and non-sudsing.

Verify your test kit against a friends of two LFS's too.

I tried 30 guppies in my 100g that I'm cycling right now. It didn't work out so well for them. Within a week I had one adult left and now it decided to have about 7 babies. I'm gonna go look for some more fish today for the cycle.

Cichlid Rift Lake Salt + Guppys = Death

you should use mollys instead they would probly survive better then guppies would...
