I thought you got bored with piranhas last time? Already got a new itch?
yeah he did but he vowed that when he was able to set up a tank large enough he would get a shoal of geryi's.

I haven't setup the new tank yet and I'm still considering my options. I can hardly afford to spend 2 grand on geryi's but if a deal could be located....

Well, I went by my local purveyor of fresh water predators today and located 5 Geryi.

Big boy was about 9-10" for 500 bucks. Finger chasing.

Smaller 4 were 4-6 inches and a little rough around the edges. Tiny like 10 gallon housing tanks. $360 a piece.

They also had 3 90 gallon tanks full of caribe fry. Must have been at least a hundred or so. They also had several foot long rhoms, some payara, several starved looking elongs/gibbus type, 5 or so yellow payaras, and some macs.

Decisions decisions....

oh yeah...did I mention the aimara?

how big of tank you end up getting? that will be one of the factor on what to get.

shark aquairum had some really nice ones, they were cheaper than those prices also.

just depends on what kind of deals I can find and what I can fit into that room. There's no outside door. Everything is going to have to come down the steps. I'm shooting for at least a 180. 125 minimum and thats really only if I got salt. We're not moving until 8/1.
