Which 2 parachromis' should i keep (pics included)??

Hey guys! i have a 100 g mixed cichlid growout with a heck of a lot of cichlids! i will be relocating some of them to two other tanks in my parents house soon.. a 75 g and a 125 g since they are growing hella fast. i have 5 parachromis' and am gonna keep 2 for now. which 2 would u guys keep?

P. dovii

P. loisellei

P. friedrichsthalli

and last but not least P. motaguense



I know... i know.. crappy pics.. i don't have the hi-tech camera like u guys. i'll work on it.

These are all still juvies with the jag biggest at close to 4 inches and the mota smallest at nearly 2 inches, but like i said i have a lot of cichlids and since they are growing fast i wanna free up some space for em'. Thanks guys.. peace from the dirty!

you really do need to move some of them, i can tell there must be a lot of aggression and your jag and freddie are stressed. what else do you have in there? i can see a festae and a devil. as for your question i'd say the managuense because they're great fish and the loisellei because he looks great. or maybe the freddie and one of the other two i mentioned because it looks like it would have some great color and you never see regular freds anymore.

yeah.. they are startin' to get stressed over the past couple weeks since they're growing more and trying to exert dominance.. that's why i'm goin' to start movin' em'...

the festae i actually just bought today! LOL. beautiful fish.. had to have it! definitely a tough fish.

as for the aggression.. ur right. there is really one main instigator in the tank and i'm overstocked in an attempt to reduce his aggression..

he's a blue dragon flowerhorn that i named "confucius" although this dude is definitely NOT peaceful!! homeboy is growing way too fast too and eats a lot and acts like he's got 'roid rage. actually he was breeding with my salvini but the eggs didn't make it. that was actually when i started preparing my parents tank for transport.

my parents have a couple big fish tanks at home with guppies and goldfish which they're gonna move into a 40 g so i can put my fishies in.

no prob man, i know how you feel about getting the festae. i started seeing them all over the place on here and went on a hunt in my area for them, that's how i ended up with six of them haha. looks like you might have a male from the body shape. a blue dragon x salvini might be a really interesting combo. dovii are amazing fish but i think your tank might be too small for a full grown one unless you decide somewhere down the line to upgrade and gold motas aren't nearly as impressive as the reds. since you have so many parachromis you should look into getting a la ceiba yellow head fred so you'd have all of the own ones haha. sorry if i'm instigating getting more fish haha.

yeah dude! a full grown dovii i dont think it would fit in a 100 g by itself much less with a few other big buddies... in the future i do see an upgrade.. hopefully distant future! LOL.. worst case scenario i'll make a few bucks tryin' to find a good home for him and my other cichlids if it comes down to it and keep my favorites. although i love them ALL! hhaha!

oh maann, i know that! i've been trying to think of what fish i want to sale to get new fish to breed. most of them i bought on a whime and they all turned out great. hard discussions haha. i'm sure you can find someone on here that'll give them a great home.
