drop eye is like the worst thing to know your fish is going to have when it grows up... atleast a 85% chance of it happening.

so what species can i get that will never ever get drop eye?

jardinis? africans??

cmon! a huge pond with something other than koi in it.. whats good!

I dont think africans are that prone to drop eye...Same with jardinis..I think silvers and silver varients are the only ones really likely to get it :D

I've seen plenty of big reds with it. Asians are prone but to a more or lesser degree I don't know.

oh so i guessed right on then...

but are there any jardini or africans that have drop eye? pics?

i dont think a silver would if it went into a pond

Silvers and DE kinda go hand in hand. I've seen an old ass Jardini w/ major DE on both sides but that was the only one I've ever seen w/ it. Get a Jar or even better, a Leichardti.

Yet to see or hear of a african aro or a leichardti with DE. Only heard or seen ac couple of black aros with DE. There have been plenty of cases of jardini and asians with DE. As for silvers, well....:(

Do Austrailian Arowanas get them?

Also, someone said that if you have a pond with a bunch of leaves and branches, it wont get drop eye, or has a lesser change because it is distracted and always looks up or something.
