Which Bichir are the best hunters?

I was just wondering which bichir are the best hunters? Well more precisely which bichirs actively hunt?

I know bichir are suppose to be opportunistic hunters and scavengers, but i have noticed my del actively swims around searching for prey. But my senegals and ornates will snap at feeder fish only if they wonder close. I admit that i have not been able to observe my ornate at night, when its suppose to be most active.

Please share your bichir hunting behavior observations.

out of mines the delhezi because he stocks his prey. all tho my ornat is still a baby so we will see.

Between my Sens and Dels: my sens. The Dels are still more-or-less juvies, so that may change in time. Both are great hunters.

most active: senegalus! mine would follow feeders for hours if he had to, but was therefore not the most successful

most succesful were my endlis/laps. a bite - a hit.

i dont think anyone can say what is the best hunter. its just like saying what fish swims the best. i think its all down to what there enviorement and what suits them for hunting
