which bichir stays small like senegals?

hey everyone. ive been wanting a new bichir but not sure which one to get. i would want one that is similar size to senegals any ideas?

Palmas bichirs get to the same size.

If you don't mind keeping 14"+ bichirs then go for any palmas complex. Moke is the only best choice that you have if you're going lower than 14" and planning on 9-12". As for the retro just expect 14-16". Biggest beutt that was ever caught is 21". There are now CB endli that maxed out at 14"+. Most LFS carries them. I recommend not to buy wild caught as they have a potential to grow bigger. Go for captive breed as they are mostly dwarf. Even CB del maxed out at 9-10" this days.

Delhezi: cb= 9-11 inches/ wc=10-14 inches
Polli: cb=7-12 inches/ wc=13-15 inches or more
Palmas: No documents on cb/ wc: 13-14 inches or more
Beuttikofferi: No documents on cb/ wc=14-21 inches
Retropinnis: No documents on cb/ wc=12-16 inches
Mokelembembe: No documents on cb/ wc=9-14 inches

Really? I've never heard of palmas' getting that big... 21" sounds insane. I knew mokes stayed smaller, but I didn't realize beutt were that large when full grown. Wow.
