Which bulbs to get

hi i just bought a used t5 dual bulb fixtue with built i moonlights and , each has 1 10,000 k daylight and 1 actnic , and i want to know what bulbs should i get for my freshwater tank, my tank has colorful fish like viejas and a green texas and a jack dempsey and my tank is a natural scape which is sand rocks and fake plants and i want a light that brings out the color of the fish and makes the tank look good, oh and my background is black if that helps , so tell em which types of bulbs to get thank u

I use the red colormax with a 10k, really brings out the colors in fish

I'd use a 65-6700K bulb.

I definitely would not go higher than 10K, but I would probably go for the 6700K first.

6700k is going to look the most like bright white sunshine which IMO is the nicest looking in a freshwater tank.

k so im going to replace both bulbs in each fixture so 1 bulb should be 6,700 k day light and he other should be ?

Go with a 6700K and a roseate.

I would just keep the ones you have now. I've always used that combo and I have no issues. I've always used coralife t5 bulbs,if that helps

You do not want an actinic. Looks cool, but algae loves to grow under it.
I'd persoanlly go with 6700 and 10000K if possible.
