That's fine for the glass, but you'll also have it coating everything in the tank, including plants.

ohhh... so get a 10,000k daylight and 6,700 k day light what about the color max or pink bulbs what do they do im looking for nice colors on my fish because i have viejas and a green texas and a jd and i want there colors to pop
I've never cared for the pink bulbs myself. With a 10000K and 6700K you are going to have a very nice looking tank with great colours on the fish.
so does it matter what brand the bulbs and im getting the 6,700k and 10,000k daylights so if any one disagrees say it now , and x2 wheres a cheap place for bulbs
