Which Canister Filter will fit?

did some quick researching on xp4's and sounds like they break down quickly...

i'm now thinking about an xp3...

Rena XP4s are way overpriced though, I think. I'd tell you to get 2 fluval 404s off ebay, but, it appears they've run out. They were $85 each with free shipping, but thats come to an end it seems.

you can try a eheim 2217 or 2215 or build your self a nice diy wet/dry

i've heard about those.. too bad they're gone from ebay.

fosters and smith still has $109 XP3's so i might just pick one of those up. i'll run that w/ an ac70 for additional mechanical filtration, w/ weekly wc's, it should work out just fine.

Another vote for the Eheim 2217. Beast of a filter with great flow (especially if you get a nice price on it). I liked mine so much that I also picked up a 2213 and 2215 for other tanks.
