I not sure on the pricing in America etc but here in the UK...
Convicts= £2-£3 each (around $5)
Kribensis £4-£5 each (around $8)
Rams = £6-£8 each (around $13)
Con babys you can't sell at all or give them away
kribensis babys you may get 10 pence each for...or give them away
Ram babys depending on size you'll get about £1 each and everyone wants them
Honduran red points = Gold mine in the UK...they go for stupid prices and are very rare. (which makes no sense as they are so easy to breed)
this would be my first time breeding (besides mollies guppies and bettas)
so simplicty might be better
i like the convicts but if the babies are worth nothing than ...
like the rams but the fry is hard to raise
like the kribs but cant find alot of info on breeding them
so i guess i dont realy know what else
i guess i will just do what gets the highest vote or what people think that are the chioce throuh the posts
Kribs are as easy as Cons to breed ...but the pairing isent.
99% of the time the pairs have already paired in the LFS tanks anyway.
Just look for the fattest brightest female and a submissive male who is following her around....thats what i did.
Cons are easier to pair off...because they dont really pair...i have known tanks with 1 male and 4 females...and the male had all 4 females laying eggs at once lol! not just that,...a female con wil breed with anything.... my one used to flirt like crazy with my Texas and is currently eyeing up my new Nic i bought today.
