Some people on here recommended that dither fish help spread aggression. Which ones are most hardy? I'm going to get some tomorrow and how many should i get? I have Midas, Jack Dempsey, Flowerhorn, Jaguar. Thanks.

do the dithers get eaten often? i'm just afraid if i put some little fish in there then the other fish will get more aggressive and start killing everything once they kill one dither fish.

How big are your fish? I have a 5" green terror with two bleeding heart tetras and one 2" clown loach. The tetras did a great job of getting my gt to come out of his hiding spot. The clown loach is a good fish to have...they are fast and always on the move, plus they eat all of the uneaten food.

flowerhorn is 8 in. midas 7 in. jack dempsey and jaguar are 6 in. will they eat the dithers or are these little guys hardy enough. anyone put dithers with full grown cichlids?

doviis would be the most durable dithers

What size tank?

I use giant danios, personally.. they're fast enough that you don't have to replace them TOO often.. but do expect to buy more occasionally. The only problem I see with using silver dollars/tinfoils is that your bioload will increase some when they grow.
