what one would be ok with geo, severum? And what one would get 6"?

ok thanks what size do they get to?

No need to stick to dwarf, unless you have a tiny tank, a Saxatilis type would do, Sveni for example. . . just sayin' :D

Already kinda discussed this with you in the visitor messages, but generally your dwarfs aren't going to get much larger than 5", if that.

Still think Crenicichla notophthalmus is the winner of the dwarfs, trumped only by wallaceii.

Definitely go for Saxatilis group if you have the space, or even Lugubris group. :) Crenicichla proteus would be a good candidate for sure. :) They are a Saxatilis group pike, but generally don't get larger than 8".

ok it a 55 gallon tank. :D here what i have found crenicichla proteus, crenicichla geayi, crenicichla lucius, crenicichla menezesi. can u tell me some info on these^

the menezesi's are pretty cool. the problem with the list is that it might be hard to get alot of those.

so hard to find so many of the pike species. and there are so many that i want.

Go with the Cr. menezesi...they are by far the most colorful out of the group. ;) Don't get horribly large either. :)

would a EBJD be ok with crenicichla menezesi?

it can work and it might not work. ive always had it be hit or miss when mixing cichlids. best bet is to get them small and grow them up together.
